Marwood Group – Valuations & Reinstatement Cost Assessment
HCS were instructed to undertake market valuations of numerous commercial properties across the UK and Scotland over a 3 month inspection period. The properties predominantly comprised of commercial warehousing and hardstanding, with freehold and leasehold interests.
The locations of the properties presented challenges during the valuation process when determining live competitive data collection accompanied by a changing market, travel restrictions and COVID-19 lockdown periods during the peak COVID-19 pandemic.
HCS delivered a valuation of semi-developed land to the client on an urgent request in order to facilitate them with the information required to meet an important 48 hour deadline for a separate transaction. The valuation was required for a freehold land value, office space and a contingency allowance for suspected contaminated land. Our Registered Valuer strived to prioritise this particular property in order to ensure that our client was not disappointed.
Re-instatement Cost Assessments were undertaken on the sites as part of this instruction, accompanying the valuations.
