Starting with a free, in-depth consultation, we’ll take the time to truly understand your ideas and vision – and get to know you, to make sure we’re a good fit for each other. Once instructed, we can work together in any capacity you need – from concept, design and planning applications to contract administration and project management through the construction all the way to completion – or take it step-by-step as the project evolves.

Our Lead Architect, Tom, has a wealth of experience in many different sectors, but at HCS he concentrates predominantly on residential extensions and new builds – adding his endless ideas and relentless flare for design to bring your aspirations to life. And by following the RIBA Plan of Work we provide a structured approach that provides full transparency at every stage.

Our Architects are experts at seeing the full scope of any project, and work hand in hand with our Planners, Surveyors and Structural Engineers to manage expectations, control budgets and define specification details throughout the design process. Having the support and resources of the full HCS team means greater efficiency and accountability – and you don’t have to engage a new professional every time a different consultant is required.
