HCS Condition reports

If you really want to know what a building is hiding, you will need a quality Condition Report. Our thorough inspections will look at the fabric (walls, windows, roofs etc.) and (if requested) the mechanical and electrical elements of your property, identifying any defect – in priority order, with costs, timescales and photos. This way you can understand what needs doing and when.

Educational properties

We have particular experience in producing in-depth Condition Reports for schools and academies, according to the requirements of the DfE. This allows a school or local authority to identify any issues early, lowering repair costs and reducing any knock-on effects.

Our reports can record the current condition, age, size and appropriateness of usage for every selected building on the school estate. We’ll review the internal and external conditions, along with building services, such as mechanical and electrical elements. The reports can be used to produce a detailed record of the existing buildings to support with the school’s asset management plan.
