Here’s Howe our Year has been

With 2 weeks remaining in 2021 we reflect on another challenging year.

At the close of 2020, much uncertainty remained over what the year ahead had in store. We remained optimistic, that even with challenges of COVID ahead, 2021 was to be a positive year for the team.

And here we are, 12 months later. Surrounded by our healthy team, working on a variety of interesting and prosperous schemes, continuing to grow and develop Howe Chartered Surveyors.

Howe we have grown in 2021

HCS have been fortunate.

We gained five new members of the team. Lucy joined our administration team and has been promoted to run business development with additional admin staff fulfilling her current role. Matt, Sean, Oliver and David joined our Building Surveying team, all bringing with them a breath of fresh air and diversity of previous career experience. They have all settled well in to the HCS club and are great additions to our team.

We grew the perhaps lesser known sectors of the business.

Our cost consultancy services were commissioned on a number of local construction developments, providing our clients with the professional know how to monitor the project finances.

Our architectural design services were used on an abundance of new projects, including a commercial re-development feasibility study and numerous residential extension developments. These have been particularly interesting to work on, complementing our surveying services.

We have undertaken the largest number of planned maintenance programmes in a single year to date and broken our records in acting as party wall surveyors.
